Maura moved to Oregon in 2013 to attend the University of Oregon and earned a BS in Biology. The switch to the legal field in late 2018 after moving to Portland was unexpected, but not unwelcome. She started as an intake specialist with Jason and others in a multitude of legal areas according to the practices of the firm, and soon began to take on projects related to documents and research.

Maura began working as a paralegal to better support attorneys in spring of 2019, with a focus on eDiscovery for cases related to professional negligence, contract dispute, construction defects, and more. She’s handled several cases with hundreds of thousands of documents, assisting her teams in weeding away unnecessary material. Maura takes pride in helping people as part of the firm’s team.

In her own time, Maura plays video and tabletop games, and writes collaborative stories with friends. One of her favorite things about Oregon is the rain, particularly the sound of it when curled up by the window with her cat.
